Why I'm Running
I’m Fred Coleman, and I’m running for State House District 45.
I’m proud to call Carnegie home and to be part of a community that looks out for one another. Across our district, that same neighborly spirit runs deep, and it’s what drives me to serve.
We deserve a representative with the courage to lead and the vision to fight for more. I’m ready to tackle the issues that matter most: lowering the cost of living, revitalizing our downtowns, and building reliable public transit that connects people to opportunity.
Let’s meet this moment together — and make something amazing out of it.
Fred will partner with local leaders to strengthen small businesses, create good local jobs, and build vibrant, connected communities. When local businesses thrive, our neighborhoods do too.
Fred will fight for a public transit system that’s fully funded, reliable, and designed around where people actually need to go. Better transit means more opportunity.
Housing, healthcare, and basic necessities have become unaffordable for too many families. Fred will work to lower costs and expand access to essential services.
Fred won’t treat legislating as a spectator sport. He’ll be hands-on in the lawmaking process, writing real bills, sponsoring serious legislation, and fighting for measures that actually serve the district.
